The first gift I remember getting: I got an artist's easel that I adored. Apparently my parents would come into my room and see me scribbling, and they would ask what I was writing, and I would say, "I don't know. I can't read yet."
The best gift I’ve ever received: It was 1999, and I had wanted nothing more than a Furby for Christmas. I totally woke up at 4 a.m., saw that distinctive octagonal box, and proceeded to rip it open and begin playing with it. I'm sure my parents were thrilled.
The best gift I’ve ever given: One Christmas, my mom, my sister, and I came across a beautiful backgammon set that once belonged to my father's grandfather. After years of continuous use, it needed a lot of TLC, so we got it restored for my dad.
