When it came to footwear this year, there were five styles that made constant cameos on the feet of fashion icons and actresses alike. There were Louis Vuitton's cap-toe pumps — they even inspired us to do a DIY — Christian Louboutin's PVC cap-toe Pigelle pumps, which Hollywood was clearly obsessed with; Givenchy's minimalistic ankle-strap Hagfish sandals; Rag & Bone's Newbury ankle boots; and Isabel Marant's wedged high-tops that spawned the out-of-control sneaker craze.
