The Best Swimsuit For Every Body Type

Hi, it's Allison McNamara and today on Currently Trending, I'm gonna show you how to find the best swimsuit for your body type. Finding the perfect swimsuit for your body shape can be a huge challenge. So today, I'm here at Everything But Water and I'm gonna show you how to find the best swimsuit for every body type. The first body type that we're tackling is the pear shape and the most important thing to remember is to mix and match. We put off seeing this leopard top and basic black bottom and what it does, it draws your eye to the top making the top balance out the bottom which is so important for pear shape. You go with the leopard print 'cause fun, great for the summertime. We played off that vibe with this tribal wooden necklace. On bottom, some black sandals. And some classic aviators finish off her beach ready look. The next body type that we're talking about is curvy. Now what that means is you want show off your best assets. So what you need to look for is a bra style top which gives a lot of support to your chest which is underwire and adjustable straps. They also go for a halter-style top with a big band underneath. But I prefer the bra-style. So I think it really supports and makes everything look nice. Now on bottom, you wanna show off your backside. So, I think a great way to do that is with ruffles 'cause it really enhances everything you've got. You want to find a ruffle that hits at the right spot, though. If it hits a little too low, it's gonna cut off your leg and make your legs look short which is never a good thing. So find a ruffle that hits right here at the swimsuit line. To elongate your legs, we added a fun Esprit bottom which really elongates and make everything look lovely and then to complete the outfit, a metallic and straw tote and a little scarf for a hint of color. Next, we're talking about boyish figure. So the most important thing here is more is more. You want full colors, bright patterns, embellishments, you name it, it's gonna look great. You want to find either a bandeau style or or a triangle-top. Here we go with a bandeau style that's got this removable strap. And I think a really fun thing to do is if, since you are a little more boyish or very straight up and down, pick a very feminine print. Here we go with a floral print. It's very girly. It has these great ruffles, also gives the illusion of curves on top. It's also got the matching ruffles on bottom which help balance it out and give you some curves on bottom as well. Another thing to look for are ties. Ties on the sides really help widen. So it gives you the illusion that you're a little bit wider and balances out the top that you've got here. So, to complete our outfit we went with a bright pink bag that plays off a nice little print, some bangles, and some flip flops on bottom. Lastly, we're talking about all over slimming and this can be great for lots of different body types. What it's gonna do is make you look your best. It does it on that. So, two things here are shearing and draping. And what that means is finding something with lots of different layers. So as you can see there are multiple layers here, kind of like a drape dress It really pulls you in all the right directions which makes you look very lean and slim. Also, we have this oversized straps which won't dig onto your skin which I also think is very important. And you can find one in a darker color, but you can still have fun with it. So, you want this really pretty blue. Just stay away from really light colors because that's not the most flattering. Another thing is to play up all the accessories to bring your eye in different directions. So a large oversized floppy hat and then this sarong; this is one of my favorite pieces because I think the color looks so nice with our swimsuit. There's this chilling cream zebra print that I think is great and then to finish off our look, we went with some fantastic cream gladiators on bottom.
