Betsey Johnson Ballet Lace Up Sock: Love It or Hate It?

As a little girl, I wanted to be a ballerina. I didn't care for standing on my toes, but I loved the pretty little outfits. Now, I can live out my childhood dreams in these Betsey Johnson Ballet Lace Up Socks ($12). These lacy socks will add a whimsical touch to any outfit, and at that price, I'm willing to try it out. What say you?

They aren't functional at all, but they are very Betsey. My friend who loves her would get them in a second, very love hate.

I guess they'd be interesting as a way to change up the look of a pair of shoes. Not something I'd wear, though. Looks like I'd put a toe through them and be irritated all day.

When I just took a quick look at it I was like "EWWW" but it's really a good idea! If you wear them with black high heels that will probably look so cute!
