Betsey Johnson Debuts Her Signature Scent
The always fun and funky Betsey Johnson is getting into the perfume business. Tomorrow, Sept. 8, at the 59th Street Bloomingdale's in NYC, she'll unveil her first-ever scent, called Betsey Johnson . At the 6-7 p.m. event, she'll be signing bottles and selecting two winners to come and see her Spring 2007 Fashion Show.
The dainty bottle and packaging—which features Betsey's signature leopard print and rose patterns—reflects the clothing line's sweet and sexy sides. The fruity, ultra-feminine scent includes hints of juicy pear, tangerine, grapefruit, black currant, freesia, lily of the valley, red apple, cedarwood, praline, amber, and sexy musks. If you don't live in NYC, don't worry: Betsey Johnson Fragrance will be available at all Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom, Sephora, and Macy's stores nationwide starting Friday. The 50ml bottle sells for $55 and the 100ml bottle sells for $75.
