Burberry Golden Gloves: Love It or Hate It?

Had they been silver, these Burberry Leather Gloves ($450) would of gone perfect with my femme bot Halloween costume. I can see them adding a fun punch of metallic to a sleek winter outfit but I'm worried it might look tacky. Do you have the King Midas touch or are these gloves a no-go?

this may sound weird, but I like the way the left hand looks, but I hate the way the right hand looks.

This one is a tough call and I think it has to be the right person, the right look and the right clothes....on the wrong ones, it will look like gilded tinfoil. Really risky I think, not for me anyway.

if i saw someone wearing these i'd probably laugh at them. they look like something out of american apparel, not burberry.
