Burberry Spring 2009 Ad Campaign

I'm smitten by Burberry's Spring '09 campaign. Staying true to the label's roots, Creative Director Christopher Bailey enlisted Mario Testino to shoot an all-Brit clan looking stylishly rumpled in Burberry's garden delight offerings. The cast spotlights Lily Donaldson with fellow models Eden Clarke, Alexina Graham, and Richard Wyndham. If that weren't enough, Bailey invited Brit actor Alex Pettyfer; musicians George Craig and Sam Beeton; and photographer Emily Hope to pose with the models against the lush green backdrop. "I wanted the mood to be gentle, relaxed, romantic, and about a quiet, beautiful sense of luxury,” said Bailey.

The models natural makeup complements Bailey's disheveled collection of statement jewelry, printed dresses, and trenches. And, I spy Burberry's debut of The Gardener Bag. I'm loving these, are you?
