Fab Ad: Burberry Spring '09
I'm smitten by Burberry's Spring '09 campaign. Staying true to the label's roots, Creative Director Christopher Bailey enlisted Mario Testino to shoot an all-Brit clan looking stylishly rumpled in Burberry's garden delight offerings. The cast spotlights Lily Donaldson with fellow models Eden Clarke, Alexina Graham, and Richard Wyndham. If that weren't enough, Bailey invited Brit actor Alex Pettyfer; musicians George Craig and Sam Beeton; and photographer Emily Hope to pose with the models against the lush green backdrop. "I wanted the mood to be gentle, relaxed, romantic, and about a quiet, beautiful sense of luxury,” said Bailey.
The models natural makeup complements Bailey's disheveled collection of statement jewelry, printed dresses, and trenches. And, I spy Burberry's debut of The Gardener Bag. I'm loving these, are you?

4its too busy i don't like it all i can't explain it i just feel that the background is making the models invisible i really can't notice what they are wearing with this background
5I like the greenhouse theme and the models have a lot of character. But the clothes aren't all that.

9I love the the clothing, makeup, hair, and models, but the poses and the whole ad in general are kind of cliche. I know that nowadays, after more than one hundred years of fashion modelung and advertisements, it's hard to be original and not cliche, but I just wish someone could find that new look...
