Ashley Olsen opted to wear an orange gown (maybe Zandra Rhodes?) to the CFDA's. The color is different and it works against her skin tone. Notice how the gold beading detail counteracts with the casual sleeve. Unique and noteworthy — another success for the birthday girl in your book?

Dear idiots, her gown is vintage. It is not too big on her, it fits her perfectly. The style is of a different time. This woman has more style under her big toe nail than any of you could in your entire lifetime. Did it ever occur to you that there must be a reason why Ashley Olsen and her sister Mary-Kate are "fashion icons", "mini moguls", "praised upon by the fashion industry", and have two very successful fashion lines? Morons.

I think Ashley looks beautiful and I actually like the 80's reference to the dress. 80's on top, sleek from the waist down. The shoulder's are almost too boxy however luckily the rest of the gown is fairly simple and not too overdone.
