We've come a long way from wearing woven grass sandals, or no shoes at all! In fact, we've come so far, now one shoe can be worn two ways with Camileon Heels. The Camileon 2-in-1 Marta Heel ($353), goes from high heel to low heel in just one second by adjusting the heel and tucking it under the shoe. I'd only consider wearing them if the tucked heel wasn't so visible. Would you wear them?

No thanks...
It doesn't look safe--like the high heel is going to break off as soon as you walk. And they aren't cheap or extraordinarily sexy--for that price just buy some comfy nike technology Cole Haans.
i like it!!... i dunno i think they are kinda cute! with maybe some black skinnies!
and how cool would it be to have 2 in 1 shoes!! haha i would run around showing everyone!!... look at my shoes look look! haha
i agree javsmav, it looks like the heel could buckle at any moment...
I agree, not too safe-sounding...
It won't look sexy with the tucked heel being so visible, not to mention it doesnt look safe.
Clever idea in thwory... but it seems like if you wore them tucked in, the bottom of the "flat" heel would get scratched-up and crappy looking, then when you untucked it to the high heel it would just look all scratched-up and crappy in the middle. Just doesn't look like it would work in reality.
They are cute, but I agree with the safety issue! And embarrassment issue! Imagine falling in front of everyone because the heels went to Bonkers!
not for me!
I like the idea, not the execution.
The concept is interesting but the shoe is ugly with or without the heel. I would be concerned that when I was wearing it with heel out it would snap under when I was walking.
Yuck, not for me
I think the style is cute and I love the idea of being versatile...my only issue would be the strength...they have tpo be sturdy. Heels can be challenging enough without having to fear they might pop off!!
I'd rather not break my neck. I also think the look itself is lacking. The material seems to gathered in the back.
i don't like shoes that gather; they're weird.
i think that i would love them if i knew that the heel wouldn't break while i was waling or running a la Carrie Bradshaw
i appreciate items with versatility, and i'm glad they're two for one! however, i would never pay that much for any pair of shoes. i also wouldn't go for leather, unless it was vintage/pre-owned. so basically, i voted love it, but would never actually buy them.
Ugly all around.
no!
Absolutely not!
It's a weird concept on a shoe that is nowhere near cute enough to even BEGIN to pull it off.
It's a weird concept on a shoe that is nowhere near cute enough to even BEGIN to pull it off.
i saw this on donny deutsch's big idea the other week. the heel looked strong, but for that price...the shoes are ugly.
Ugly
I like the idea, but it just doesn't work.
ugggggllllllyy
The idea is awesome...the execution, not so much.
Yeah, I completely agree with michelleyk, the execution is horrible.
The design isn't overly likable and then you can also see the heel just sitting there when its flipped up. Plus the toes stayed in that odd turned up shape when they're converted to the lower heel.
No thank you.
Not sure. i think when worn with the right outfit...mabye.
i think the idea is great - no more of the "i love the shoes, but they're too long/short for my pants". however this actual style of this shoe is ugly and it doesn't look totally secure.
I love the concept - but this particular styles is ugly
maybe if the shoe style wasn't so ugly
The sell other styles than the one pictured. I think the idea is fabulous. I just wish they weren't so expensive.
Eek.
I love them! I don't get why you wouldn't - they're fabulous...
