Cutie Carey Mulligan kept it short and sweet tonight. Allover texture and oversize front pockets give this little lavender Miu Miu a retro feel. To finish it off, Carey is casual, opting for a pair of diamond studs, black tights, and black booties. How do you rate her look?

Adorable without the pockets. And she's got personality, so I can deal with the fact that she's not really dressed appropriately.

Love the dress, but I wish she would put a smile on her face. I think the flower pattern of the dress and the pockets make the dress look more casual but I don't think it's a big no-no.

I like the outfit, but not for a BALL at the MET. It's one of the most famous art museums in the world hosting a party for some of the most fashionable people in the world. When you get an invitation, you find yourself a nice dress.
