Catwalk Stampede
Battle of the Catwalk: Stampede vs. Solo Strut
by Melody Nazarian 0
I remember it like it was yesterday — when Dolce & Gabbana's Spring '10 models stampeded down the catwalk, I was mesmerized. One model is great, but a herd of them? Stunning. Likewise, at the TCN show at Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week yesterday, another stampede took place (top left), albeit much more modest than Dolce & Gabbana's. It might not have been as powerful in number, but it still had the same wowing effect. But not every designer is into the catwalk stampede — while it's fun to look at, it makes it harder to focus on the specific pieces. So tell me, which do you prefer — the stampede or solo strut?
