Celebrity Style: America Ferrera

America Ferrera hasn't ceased to amaze me as of late. She always steps on that red carpet looking stellar and ultra feminine. Here, at the Hot in Hollywood party, she chose a body-hugging Black Halo dress with pleated bodice. She took the look from simple to lady with the black patent leather belt and strappy sandals. She's definitely a fine example of how to work dresses that accentuate sexy curves!

america is beautiful, but her outfit here is all wrong. the dress is not suitable for her figure - it emphasizes the wideness of her hips too much. it is midcalf and therefore way too long because she is short. she needs something that just hits the knee and show off her calves. her shoes are also way too noisy, she should wear thinner more sparse strappy high heeled sandals. and the belt brings too much attention to the center of her body - with her I would use accessories to bring attention to her collarbones and face.

She's lost alot of weight. She looks great. I would wear that dress if it didn't have that foofy thing on the chest.

Yes, she's actually a "Hollywood full-figured" gal at a size 6. She might look bigger because she's really short. But I've seen her dresses auctioned off on clothesoffourbacks.org and they're all size 6.

She looks great but I only wish the dress was cut a little bit shorter (or was it the way it was shot) so that her legs wouldn't look short. The Nicole Miller dress is chic and the Jimmy Choos are pretty
