Celebrity Style: Double the Lauren Conrad, Double the Fun

18

You knew this was coming — I can't resist Lauren's laid-back chic sometimes. She's a bona fide girl about town promoting her Mark cosmetics gig, and then appearing on The Late Show With David Letterman last night. She pulled a Carrie Bradshaw wearing a studded belt with both of these looks. For David, she was tailored and tough in Alice + Olivia navy wide-leg trousers and Mike & Chris cropped leather jacket — no LC outfit is complete without a Chanel bag. For Mark, she wore a skirt from Whitney Port's clothing line, said studded belt and a Fab Yaya Aflalo polka-dot tank. Which look do you like better?

She pulls of both looks. Her style is great obviously otherwise she wouldn't have her own fashion line, so she knows the area well which you can see in both of these photos. The first thing that is prominent is that they both fit her body comfortably. I find the second photo more influential as it is more cute and flirty and easier to pull of than the second picture. She dominates when it comes to fashion, but why not embrace what she brings to the fashion industry. (i have seen some of the most scrutinising outfits through the biggest fashion industries; people are more threatened by her because we can relate to her). She is a great role model and i envy her!

well the looks are VERY similar but i guess that's LC for you. at least we know that she's like the rest of us and finds a piece that she loves and works it and works it and works it.

haaaaaaate her with a passion, but I love both looks! I like the leather jacket with trousers, but I like the second look even more - that polka-dotted top is fabulous...

Umm, did anyone see the Late Show? It was totally hysterical! Letterman basically told her what idiots her and all her friends are. It was so humiliating! I loved it!

I like the first one better. She totally rocked that SJP belt with both outfit. Fab, Lauren skirt is not from Whitney's line but from her own collection called the lily skirt

Completely uninspired look. I also hate that annoying pose she does with her tinted head. That pose is so annoying it makes me want to break off my arm so I can throw something at her!

I think she looks adorable in her first look.

Sometimes you can't resist her Fab? Mmm hmmm.... I have to say though, that plain black skirt is truly inspirational, how did Whitney ever come up with such an original concept? :ponder:

I swear I just read that that belt was from LC's line. I'm sorry. That belt is all Pat Field's magic.

She's not SJP therefore she cannot pull off the looks that SJP can. Sarah can wear ANYTHING, love her for that.

annoying.

Neither is that great, but I'll say the first one because it's a little outside her comfort zone. I don't like it though that she wore the SJP studded belt low on her waist (as an actual belt)... I feel like it should be higher up on the waist, a la Carrie Bradshaw.

I love her first look :D
