Celebrity Style: Katie Holmes

While papa Tom was hard at work, mama Katie and baby Suri strolled in Tiergarten Park in Berlin. It's not every day that one walks through the park in super duper wide-leg plaid trousers and pumps, but somehow Katie makes it look effortless. I love that she's singlehandedly bringing back plaid! She proves that gearing up for Fall is a, well, stroll in the park!

Why has Katie, oops I mean Kate, started dressing like a 50 year old? Anyone else seen the hideous pleated capris in the most recent photo of her? I think she's trying to channel her inner Kathryn Hepburn and she's failing miserably!

these pics aren't good but the pants are very cool. I'm actually quite surprised that Katie gets this kind of hip fashion instead of the usual cheezy little dresses that her peers wear. You will see more wide, plaid pants like this this fall.

I love the look and would wear all of it! Also, Suri is the cutest girl I've ever seen! She looks so much better these days than during her Joey Potter tomboy phase!

i'm going to add to the ugly pants concensus. and the adorable suri concensus. suri is maybe the cutest child i've ever seen. in my WHOLE life. all 22 years of it.

The pants are way too big and way too dark. Definitely not a summer outfit and I'm not sure that it's very flattering to Katie anyway. Love Suri though - what a cutie!!!
