Celebrity Style: Katy Perry

Katy Perry showed off her demure side in NYC wearing a preppy tweed coat, black studded bowed flats, and a bejeweled headband. It's an unexpected look compared to her usual off-kilter ensembles, and we like it. However, the singer did manage to sneak a whimsical touch into her Upper East side outfit with a cute teddy bear bag — kitschy bag alert! Simply adorable.

The bag you are proposing as 'the celebrity style' is not the original she is wearing, the original one is from the Argentine designer Valeria Pesqueira, available at the MoMa store in NYC and Tokyo.

Fame can change a person's image. In this case, she has become more classy, and it suits her :) Though it is kind of weird without a corset :)

I LOVE her headband! But the jacket hurts my eyes and the bag...ugh. However, fo Katy Perry, this is a MUCH better look than her usual "look at me" outfits.
