Celebrity Style: Mischa Barton

Gal pals Mischa and Nicole did some bonding - ahem, shopping - in NYC yesterday. Mischa even stopped to pose for some photos! Rightfully so because she is precious in her See by Chloe colorblock dress and Chanel bag. But her choice of Miu Miu shoes confuses me, so I gave her something a bit more appropriate. Side note: I am dying to see what 's in those Anna Sui and Intermix shopping bags!

This is proof that trendy stuff doesn't look good on everyone. And it certainly wont look good only beacuse you're skinny... Somebody said she should stick to classics they were right, not to mention that dress is ot flattering for a tall lanky skinny girl like herself. I think she's need to have boobs to pull this one off.

this dress is adorable but she just ruined it with the shoes and the hair. It needs t-strap pumps, wolford tights, a splash of green and a cute headband over a straight down-do. my friend also wore this dress with the KORS sanai espadrille in black, which makes a cute summer look.

I think she was just trying to match the shoes with the hair and the theme (colour blocking) with the dress. Having said that, I agree that it doesn't quite go together either.

I don't actively dislike her dress, but it absolutely does not go with her shoes. I was thinking about buying those myself, but she's put me off them now...

i agree...nicole's look was MUCH cute yesterday. why not a celebrity style post on that outfit?? cuz this is just NOT. CUTE. and, you can find that dress at forever 21 for like $20. and its a lot cuter.

I kinda like the dress but not the shoes...it looks kinda nude on Mischa's pale skin and it doesn't compliment her at all and that Chanel bag,it's so Mischa

i like the dress, but i really don't think that it looks great on mischa. odd, because she's usually a pretty good clothes-horse. (i'm hoping that's not an australianism in expression...) I think fab's suggested shoes would have helped a lot to lift the outfit, though.
