Celebrity Style: Whitney Port

Fashion Week is the time to step up your fashion game and Whitney Port did just that. The outfit she wore to Diane von Furstenberg's show is part whimsical, part serious, and all fabulous. The floral ruffle frock does its job of keeping Whitney feminine and flirty, while the Diane von Furstenberg striped blazer keeps it down to earth. Her choice of footwear — purple suede booties — couldn't be any more spot on. Great thinking! The art-deco earrings and gold rhinestone bangle bring the look full circle.

Olivia certainly knows how to stay casual and conservative. In other words: A bit boring, if you ask me. And I am not just saying this, because we all know that Olivia is far too plain next to Whitney. Whitney on the other hand, shows how confident and independent she is by mixing broad stripes and a floral dress. She does not let everyone else dictate her style. The shoe boots are a perfect fit, and they look amazing, as they match the pale/pastel purple flowers on her dress. I simply love this outfit - It is very "Carrie Bradshaw" and high street class! She is definitely a trend setter and I love that she is not afraid of doing the opposite of others.

I agree with Wren, I think Whitney makes odd choices. Sometimes she wears really really ugly floral dresses and looks BAD 80's...

Olivia looks great...Whitney looks like a mess. Her dress and boot are cute, but I hate it with the jacket. It makes me think of the flirty dress/jacket combo that Sienna Miller was wearing recently, but unlike that look, this one is NOT working.

I agree that the two doesn't look all that great together - I love the dress, but if she wanted to make the look less girly I would have paired it with a leather jaket or a denim jaket - but thatøs just me... The blazer is really cool too though. Olivia's outfit is nice (pretty safe) and I really like her hair in this picture.

I actually really like Whitney's look here. It's bright and cheery. Oilivia's is just kinda bland and boring.

um..not great thinking. Whitney's outfit looks terrible. The only excuse for wearing something like this is if her suitcase got lost on a plane and she only had these pieces on her carry-on left to wear. Otherwise, I'm embarrassed for her.

yeah, i actually think whitney's outfit is ugly all put together. the pieces as seperates are nice though. and i do like olivia's outfit, although it is a little on the boring side.

if theyre going to a DVF show, im assuming theyre "working". Olivia's outfit is much more professional and fitting for working at fashion week

I absolutely ADORE that blazer! DvF rocks - what a cool design! As much as I hate all the girls from The Hills, I do think Whitney usually has very good style - this is probably my favorite look so far. her dress is so cute, and that blazer funks it up perfectly!
