Diane von Furstenberg celebrated International Women's Month by throwing a bash at her West Hollywood boutique last night. Of course, Whitney Port attended to show support for her boss. The reality starlet balanced fancy and casual by wearing a DvF gold-sequined blazer up top, but downplaying it with Charley 5.0 denim leggings and ballet flats. A gold macho watch and her favorite Gucci purse partied the night away with her.

i really want to like her look but i don't. she's always wearing blazers or jackets like this and you don't see her shape. and i'm a bit tired of the braids/twists - she needs to modern it up a bit. sorry whit - i really do like you but i'm not loving this outfit!

The thing about Whitney's fashion sense is, it's unpredictable and unusual. She's pretty daring and seems to not mind if things clashed or unusual. That's what makes her interesting. I don't like this particular outfit, it reminds me of pictures of an aunt from the 80s. But I gotta applaud her bravery knowing that she'll be scrutinized for her choices in clothing. Interesting choice.

I don't like the jacket, but since it's from DVF, I can see why she's wearing it. What I don't get it's the flats. Too simple, too shapeless... Not flatering at all. And yet she and LC are always wearing them!
