Blue is easily one of the colors we are most excited about wearing this season. Many designers looked to the water and sky for inspiration this season and translated these themes onto the runway with pretty cloud prints, varying shades of blues, and fluid fabrics. We're giving you an inside look at our process — from how we spot the trend on the runway to the moment the trend comes to fruition on our shoot. Watch on and enjoy today's installment of Currently Trending. On Allison McNamara: Club Monaco top, Forever 21 pants, Target belt, Rag & Bone booties.

Charlotte Ronson Shares Her Fall '13 Inspiration and Favorite Pieces
Our fashion reporter Allison McNamara caught up with Charlotte Ronson at her NYC studio before the craziness of Fashion Week even commenced. We're taking you behind the scenes to get a closer look at the designer's Fall 2013 collection. What's more, Ronson reveals the inspiration behind her slightly girlier Fall clothing (hint: she's going back to her roots!) and walks us through some key collection pieces, including her favorites. Watch it here — and now.
Charlotte Ronson Fall '13 Takes the Cool Girl on a Woodsy Field Trip
We can always count on Charlotte Ronson to give us the best kind of downtown cool-girl wares, and for Fall 2013, it's just that — with an into-the-woods twist. Her recognizable sporty mesh detailing and slouchier leather trousers were on point, but what we loved most had everything to do with her exploration of a much girlier aesthetic. See how Charlotte Ronson did it here — click "play" now.
Charlotte Ronson Fall 2013 Runway
Charlotte Ronson's Fall '13 mix of sweet floral prints and rich hunter-green leather beckons you into the woods with a kind of modern schoolgirl charm. References to Ronson's cooler downtown girl were there, albeit with a girlier, retro twist made most obvious by Petula Clark's "Downtown" melody filling The Box at Lincoln Center as models made their way down the minicatwalk. We still get Ronson's sportier side with mesh detailing and slouchy leather trousers, but it's the woodsy greens and downright adorable florals that draw you in.
Charlotte Ronson Goes a Little Mod For Fall
Charlotte Ronson wanted the hair and makeup for her Fall 2013 collection to be as simple and easy to wear as the clothes coming down the runway. Sara Biria led the Sephora Pro makeup team with a Twiggy-inspired look, while the hair was styled into a low pony by Rafe Hardy for Sexy Hair.
The look: Simple and flirty
The inspiration: 1960s London
Who would wear it: The girlie-girl who needs a quick and easy look

Haute Vote: Fashion Folks Hit the Polls
If our Twitter feed proved anything today, it's that Anna Wintour and André Leon Talley aren't the only politicos in the fashion world. Terry Richardson, Kelly Mittendorf, Jeremy Scott, and Joe Zee were among those who not only hit the polls but also used their social media pull to get out the vote. While we'll leave it up to you to figure out who the majority of industry folk probably voted for, we will say this: patriotism is always in style.

It's, like, freezing and long lines and people are way pushy. That's the bad news about voting. The good news? America is the best country!
