Prepare for a case of fashion déjà vu! Upon seeing the stills of Naomi Watts dressed in iconic looks for the upcoming September 2013 film Diana, we had an instant flashback to the '90s. The resemblance between the actress and the princess is an especially sparkling one, thanks to the addition of Chopard jewels.
The Geneva-based firm worked directly with the film's costume designer, Julian Day, to compile a collection that the Princess of Wales may have selected for herself — jewels conceived to suit her haircut, match her sapphire engagement ring, and complement her fair complexion. Of the process, Caroline Scheufele, Chopard's copresident and artistic director, said, "I was thrilled because, to me, she was a person blessed with extraordinary charisma and great elegance, both in her personality and her style."
