Chris Benz Kelly Patent Leather Jacket: Love It or Hate It?

cruise collections that are just hitting the racks, I wanted to get your thoughts on this Kelly Patent Leather Jacket ($1,495). Are you digging the luxe lambskin sheen or is the jacket a little too slick for your taste?

I don't know - I like the material and the idea, but the row of buttons all the way to the left are tacky, and the neckline looks like a karate uniform, so I'm undecided...

the jacket is so cute... but aren't people over patent yet? it was cool at the beginning when it was only on every third or fourth person. but now? marni made patent cool on skirts for a while, but a jacket like this just looks like a rainjacket that won't keep you dry. cute cut though! i wish it was leather.
