I think we can all agree that Christian Louboutin is the best shoe designer of 2007. He won the poll by a whopping 76 percent and the man behind the signature red soles deserves every single vote. I mean, he provided damn sexy footwear, like this Blue Suede Platform Pump ($660), to practically every actress in Hollywood and anybody else who could afford it. In 2007, where there were feet, there were Louboutins. Cheers!

fab and wrngco are both right in different ways. I love Louboutins but those blue shoes above aren't my dig. The red soles with the blue suede and the cream footbed reminds me of an American flag and I hate when things are like that.

wrngco: I agree that when something becomes popular and mainstream it loses its exclusivity . . . But Loub's widespread fame this year is undeniable. It really put him on the retail/fashion map. I'm sure he appreciates that in 2007, his red soles were everywhere and his name was on every fashionista's lips! xo.
