Christian Siriano Silk Chiffon One Shoulder Dress: Love It or Hate It?

Christian Siriano's success has skyrocketed since Project Runway, and so have his prices. Take for instance this Christian Siriano Silk Chiffon One Shoulder Dress ($2,950) — Siriano is now sold at Intermix, btw. I love the color combination and frothy silk layers, but the price is pretty hard to swallow. Do you think it's worth the big buckaroos?

Love the color combo, but either one side needs a strap, or the sleeve on the other side needs to be taken off. Agree with everyone else that is definitely isn't a $3k dress.

I don't like it all. I love the color combo, but the sleeve is just ugly, and the tiers look a little undone. the thing I will say for it is I wonder how it looks on someone, since when Heidi Klum wore it at the Emmy's (a longer version), it looked gorgeous. http://www.fabsugar.com/2061779 but maybe that's because she's Heidi Klum...

There is nothing special about the design or shape of this dress. I could find the same one at Forever 21 for $24.99. Pass.

It's OK. I saw another top of his on intermix that was really cute, but it was almost $1K. He better be using the top of the line materials and sewing everything by hand, because I cannot think of any reason a project runway designer should have clothes at that high of a price.

i just looked at his collection on intermix the other day. i like it but the price tags are all absurd. i mean i could see if that dress was $950. i'd still think it was absurd but it would be a little more expected!

I agree with myystque. I like the dress, but I'm not crazy about the sleeve. I'm even less crazy about it's price tag. Are people actually paying that much?

I like the colors but I think it would look better without the sleeve. Regardless, I wouldn't pay almost three grand for it. Not worth that much, even if I had the money.
