How Would YOU Wear It? Leelee Sobieski

Orange is a hot color, but too much of anything can be overkill. Actress Leelee Sobieski has taken the concept of matching a bit too far. I don't mind individual pieces in her ensemble, but all together, it's a fashion editor's worst nightmare.

Leelee should have definitely left the orange tights for Halloween. There's still too much matching so I'd keep the jacket and skirt and wear a white blouse instead. Those jazz-inspired shoes are too old lady; I say ditch them for something more modern.

Oh goodness what a train wreck! She just doesn't have the knack of putting together an outfit does she? Time for a stylist to intervene perhaps? (or if she already has one, time for a change). The best way to salvage the outfit is to keep the essence of it and change everything else. The sweater and skirt are SO unflattering on her. They make her heavier than she is. I wouldn't pair the orange with black because that's just too halloween. Keep the jacket, but button and belt it to give some shape, and wear it over a thin, slim fitting navy cashmere turtleneck. Pair that with a high waisted camel pencil skirt, textured opaque navy tights, and the oxfords (i actually like them). The outfit would look sleek and ladylike and would be very flattering on her body type.

it's too matchy-matchy but frankly, i think this is a really funky cool outfit! however, to make it a bit more palatable and mainstream, i would have chosen black tights and black oxfords.

Wouldn't wear it at all. OMG, what was she thinking? "Hmm. What would I wear today? I love halloween, let's dress up like a pumpkin!" ?

I would have worn the jacket with blank pants and a black top. Let the jacket stand on its own. She has never been a stylish dresser. She's a bit insane.
