A Classic: The Jean Jacket

Some gals will never part with their good 'ol faithful jean jackets - myself included. I have a white one and a dark denim one, both by the now-expired Earl Jeans, and though I haven't been wearing them much, I will never rid of them. Jean jackets are a casual cool cover-up and yes, there are many ways to wear one. I found a few classic styles and a few modern styles so there's something for everyone. Enjoy!

I have the cutest true religion denim jacket!!! Gotta love denim jackets, well....as long as they aren't paired with denim jeans!!!! :)

I agree with katie and windy. Denim with denim is just icky. But a denim jacket with khaki shorts, pants, skirt or capris is always a fresh casual look.

Jean jackets are like the absolute staple of any cute casual dress, khaki pants shorts with a nice cute top. I love mine.

I adore my GAP denim jacket. I wear it mostly in the fall and spring, when I'm changing over from summer to fall clothes, or from winter into spring.

I agree with katie225. I can't pull off the denim jacket and denim pants combo. I wear jeans a lot so ... no jacket. Also it's tough for me to find a jacket that looks good on me. I have a long torso so many styles that work for others just cut me off. The same goes for all of the cute cropped jackets out there, they do nothing for me.

Oh man, I remember when everyone had to have a jean jacket. I was a victim to the trend as well. I still have a black cropped on that would be nice with a skirt or something, but I haven't worn it in ages. If I were ever to buy another jean jacket, it would have to be something stellar. As far as I've seen, there haven't been any that have impressed me thus far.

i wear too many denim pants to ever wear a denim jacket. denim with denim doesn't look good in my opinion, though i'm nowhere near fashionable. it looks weird when you mix blue jean pants and jackets that don't match, and then it looks even dumber when the denim does match. is there a rule about denim jackets (other than they're the most uncomfortable jackets for petite women to wear)?

I remember me having a glittering denim jacked back when I was still younger than twelve. I loved it! But now I can't imagine my self wearing one (even without the sparkle-effect...). Well, maybe couple months later I'm totally used to that idea. We'll see.
