Coachella Accessories Are About SO Much More Than Floral Crowns

Apr 15 2014 - 8:35am

We've been loving all the casual and laid-back outfits we've spotted at Coachella [1] and the mix of parties that have popped up alongside all the action at the main event — for every boho princess in fringe and a crop top, there are ladylike swans who stayed true to their everyday style. When you peer closely to check out the details, the exact same thing happens: among all the floral wreaths and friendship bracelets come heeled sandals and designer bags. They say variety is the spice of life, right?

Scroll down to see all the shoes, bags, sunglasses, and more that have grabbed our attention so far!

Huge floral crowns not your thing? Do it simply with a thinner wreath.

Proof that a Chanel bag works anywhere: this chic festivalgoer who wore her quilted bag with a floppy hat and tank.

Because two bolds can totally make a right, this music fan wore a red striped hat with her oversize tortoise shades (which really stood out thanks to purple lenses).

Converse kicks were a smart sneaker for a long day of partying and listening to music.

For as long as people flock to Coachella Valley, we think we'll see a healthy dose of floral crowns. This year was no exception!

Basic black shades might look New York, but paired with a daisy crown and bold necklace, they feel festival ready.

A Rebecca Minkoff [5] bag, plus wristbands on wristbands and a cute kitty-face watch, were all POPSUGAR editor Mandi Villa needed for a fun time.

A fanny pack is clutch if you want to be free to move and dance. And done in simple black canvas, it matches anything in the suitcase.

Monochromatic can still feel festival festive, so long as you pick the right pieces. This pairing of steely gray sunglasses and hat felt striking, even amid all the neon brights.

We loved this bright orange clutch from far away, but when we checked it out up close, we noticed her awesome nail wrap bangle.

We're tempted to think that's a necklace smartly layered atop her head for a desert princess vibe. True or not, we love it (and applaud the styling gumption).

The more feathers, the merrier!

If sneakers aren't your thing, copy this music fan's canvas wedge look. It's still comfortable but feels more feminine.

Desert dust and surging crowds of people means ankle boots, not sandals, are the festival footwear of choice for many. We liked how this suede pair felt even more relaxed, thanks to side zips.

While any music festival has tons of brighter-than-bright accessories, plenty of stylish ladies rock their everyday pieces, too. Alicia Lund topped things off with a fedora and wore tortoiseshell Miu Miu [13] sunglasses.

Festival Fashion Accessories

We loved the neon nails, but couldn't stop staring at those heart shades and that collar necklace.

A rose by any other color would look just as sweet, but we can't lie: we're obsessed with them in this soft blush.
