Vanessa continues to garner Fab adoration with her adventurous style.

Vanessa continues to garner Fab adoration with her adventurous style. Here she is in the streets of LA looking Spring ready. Her periwinkle large floral print Madison Marcus blouse is beautiful, while her signature J Brand skinnies lead us to a nice surprise — ivory Cole Haan booties. It's time to lighten things up, and Vanessa did just that. Her black Balenciaga moto bag and gold Ray-Ban aviators are classic, while brown beaded bracelets and chunky rings are eclectic.

On Our Radar: Cole Haan's Comfy Bridal Collection

Most women sacrifice comfort for style on their wedding day but what if I told you that you can have the best of both worlds?

Most women sacrifice comfort for style on their wedding day but what if I told you that you can have the best of both worlds? Cole Haan has just launched a beautiful bridal collection boasting its famous Nike Air technology. That means you'll be able to dance the night away without swelling toes and blistering feet. Cool. The line currently stocks eight styles, ranging from peep-toe pumps to embellished slingbacks, all made in silk satin. However, the collection is not cheap. Prices retail from $298 to $428, but with Cole Haan's "dye to black" service, you can wear your cushiony heels well after your wedding day. Interested? The Cole Haan Bridal collection is available online and at select Cole Haan stores.

Cole Haan Kindle 2 Case: Love It or Leave It?

One of the few things I don't like about the Kindle 2 is the lack of included cover; the first generation's included case.

One of the few things I don't like about the Kindle 2 is the lack of included cover; the first generation's included case. It saved you the hassle of buying a case and the suede on it was the tactile element the device itself was missing. Not into the hot red? It's also available in gold and black.

Getting one out of those two requirements is Cole Haan's Patent Leather Kindle 2 Case. The outside is a very shiny, luxe woven leather, while the inside has that nice suede that I so liked with the first one.

Unfortunately, it's also far from the free status of the first gen's case; it's $120. Then again, you're gonna end up shelling out for a case on the Kindle 2 anyway, why not make it a statement?

What do you think of this case — is it annoying you'd pay so much for something, or is the price fine for the quality of a Cole Haan product? And the leather — is it too shiny or just right?

Retail Happenings: Refurbished Cole Haan Opens This Friday

The newly spruced up Cole Haan on Madison Avenue will open this Friday, and our love for interior design and quality leather goods has us more than excited.

The newly spruced up Cole Haan on Madison Avenue will open this Friday, and our love for interior design and quality leather goods has us more than excited. The new space is said to have been inspired by the modernist California home of the 'Cole Haan couple'. In the store, warm, natural materials will compliment the rawness of the open-space. Cole Haan's signature aesthetic clues, woven materials and orange accents, will be touched on in the store's interior lighting and textures. Overall, the new space will be streamlined and sleek--in anticipation of yet another decade of business, and soon enough, their 100th year.

These Boots Are Made For Walking: Two Toned

Take a close look.
Oscar de la Renta at ShopStyle

Take a close look. Do you notice the subtle juxtaposition between the smooth leather and suede of these Oscar de la Renta Leather Boots ($1,195)? This expert two-toned technique adds an exciting and elusive touch to boots. I like how the suede inset breaks up the smooth leather in a harmonious, hip fashion. Be daring and opt for a pair with patent detailing or better yet, contrast your neutral tone with a pop of color.

Supersize This: Cole Haan Loafers

I recently ran into Cole Haan to pick up a pair of black patent wedges that were to become my Fall shoe of choice when the cutest lil thing caught my eye.

I recently ran into Cole Haan to pick up a pair of black patent wedges that were to become my Fall shoe of choice when the cutest lil thing caught my eye. In honor of their 80th anniversary, the company has come out with a line of crib shoe penny loafers ($50). The four designs are perfectly suited for prepsters in the making with classic black and brown versions, as well as red or brown suede ones too. Securing these as my new obsession are the soles of the shoes that are imprinted with "Pennies from Heaven."

We're in luck though — we don't just have to dream about the company supersizing these lil darlings, the crib shoe collection is a shrunken version of Cole Haan's classic shoes. So the originals are available in mommy sizes.

These Boots Are Made For Walking: Gorgeous Gray

Obsessed. I've always been into all things gray; it's my neutral.
Steve Madden at ShopStyle

Obsessed. I've always been into all things gray; it's my neutral. Black sometimes feels too harsh, white is too delicate, and beige is . . . beige is so blah. But gray has the ability to compliment everything and comes off as cool and collected. It makes colors pop and tempers icy neutrals. In suede, it's plush, in leather, it's modern. Gorgeous gray is a win-win. Make a subtle statement in these Steve Madden Persue Grey Suede boots ($290).

Serena stays true to form and keeps things casual in an untucked tee, knit vest, nude heels, and amazing Ferragamo snakeskin purse. While dealing with her travesties, Blair looks prim and proper in a pinstriped navy pencil skirt, ruffle top, and adorable Cole Haan wedge peep-toes. Irina Lazareanu's Big Break

Sitting front row isn't a new thing for Irina — she was in row one last season at Erin Fetherston — but what is new?  For the first time in three years, she's taking a break from the runway: "To be honest, I wanted to take a season off." But just in New York — she will be walking "a little" in Milan and Paris.
