Come Fab Finding With Me: Sex and the City Soiree
In case you haven't noticed, we've been in a frenzied excitement over our exclusive Sex and the City screening. Last weekend, PartySugar and I hosted a fabulous and fun Sex and the City party and everyone was asked to dress like their favorite SATC character or outfit. I'll start you off with this Erickson Beamon Arcade Ring ($195) because it evokes Carrie's glamorous eccentricity. Make me proud!

7I took inspiration from a picture of carrie on set for the new movie...I'd wear the proenza vest open (so you can see the tank that is tucked into the skirt), with the wide belt over the vest/tank at the waist. I'd also wear the blue bangle and yellow bangle to tie the ring in with the whole look.
8I've always had problems picking a favorite and I've been list-free for a while, so I went overboard this time - one list inspired by each character (and some I'm better at than others). Enjoy! Assuming the first list was 'Carrie', here are my three others:

12Here's my first try. I thought the cropped top and full skirt were very Carrie - not to mention the big flower. This one was so much fun, I might just have to try again later!

14I would wear this look san jewelry simply because the whole outfit speaks volumes alone! I see this as more of a grown-up Carrie look since Pat Fields said that she went for the character's styles, just a bit older.
16I have long forgetten the season, however, this look pays homage to Carrie's day-glow, gay club days that Fab just talked about. Ideally the nameplate would have Carrie's name on it!
