Costume Designers Guild Awards Red Carpet

Last night's Costume Designers Guild Awards was the latest in a line of award season events to draw a stylish celebrity crowd. In honor of films' crafty costumers, celebs like Rooney Mara, Kate Beckinsale, and Amber Valletta turned to their chic sheaths and pretty dresses to suit up for the occasion. Kate Beckinsale had the night's most glamorous appearance in a romantic floor-length gown, but otherwise these leading ladies, like Rooney in a sweet-cum-sexy J. Mendel frock and Amber Valletta in a brilliant minimalist sheath, showed a little more restraint on the red carpet (perhaps saving their sequins for Oscar Sunday?).
