DIY Add Gypset Embellishments to Your Collared Top

Hi, it's Allison McNamara. Welcome back to FabSugar TV. For today's DIY, we're giving our favorite top, the colored shirt, a gypset feel with Bohemian embellishments. We saw gypset coin embellishments on Altuzarra's spring runway and we came across this top by Number 21 which became the inspiration for today's DIY. Here's what you'll need: a sleeveless button-up top; metal embellishments or trim and hot glue and glue sticks. The first step is to find your metal trim or embellishments. You can have fun with personality here. I suggest either going to your local craft store like Michael's or JoAnn's and finding a Bohemian trim, or you can go to a place like Forever 21 and use a necklace or bracelet. I went to Forever 21 and I found this one and I thought it was perfect. Next, turn your shirt inside out and lay your collar flat on the table. Measure out your trim to make sure you have enough to line your collar. Now it's time to start gluing. Glue in small sections to make sure you're really precise. A good tip is to use the seam as a guide to make sure you're gluing in a straight line. Let it dry for a minute or two and there you go, you've now given your polished button up a bohemian gypset feel in just a few minutes. Thanks for joining me for today's DIY.
