Dakota Fanning in Miu Miu in NYC

Hey, it's Allison McNamara and you're watching Fab Flash. Dakota Fanning told us all about how she's influenced her sister Elle's style last night at the Cosmopolitan Fun and Fearless Award. I've influenced her style because she's stolen my clothes. Early this year, at the Critics' Choice Awards, Elle Fanning told us how she loves to raid her sister Dakota's closet. I go in there and like steal clothes from her all the time which she doesn't like that much. So, accordingly, we got the inside scoop from Elle's big sister at Cosmo's Fun Fearless Female Awards at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in New York City last night where celebs like Rose Byrne, Liam Hensworth, and Frieda Pinto all came out to celebrate. And Dakota looks super chic despite the closet sharing rivalry. Oh she definitely has a completely different style from me. Dakota may have had her sister Elle to thank for her lavender cut-out Miu Miu dress, which she accessorized with a thin, black headband sparkly clutch, and a few statement rings. I found myself having to go to the little sister, asking her if "Oh, do you like this outfit." You know, it's like kind of a sad day for a big sister when you have to ask your little sister's opinion, but she deserves it. But the sisters Fanning aren't the only ones who love to play with fashion. It's a family affair. I've always really liked fashion because my mom is really into fashion, so it's always been kind of a part of our lives, both Elle and I. I think when you can actually start wearing the beautiful clothes that you admire is when you really appreciate, you know, how much time goes into creating such works. We've loved watching Dakota appreciate all sorts of designer fashions over the years, and since the night was all about being fearless we asked if Dakota felt daring, when it comes to her personal style. See, I don't think I have a particular style. I try to do different things all the time and I usually wake up kind of a different person every day and decide to wear something completely out of the ordinary. So, I would hope that I am fearless.
