Here's a post from CasaSugar Community member Blackwithstubby from the Assisted Living group:

Hi my name is Katie and I just recently got permission from my parents (I am only fourteen years old) to redecorate my room. I have most of my bedroom planned out. I am just missing some essential items: the duvet, bedsheets, and comforter. I recently fell in love with a comforter from a store called Delia*s. It was called Hot Spots and although a little obnoxious, it was perfect for the room I have been planning. However, they have discontinued the product.

I love all colors as long as they are not overwhelming, and my favorite color is yellow. Normally I do not like animal prints, unless in certain cases. I do like some florals, but not too many floral patterns. To make my problem worse, the comforter can not be too expensive because I do have a budget constraint. Can anyone help me please?

Thanks, Katie

Trend Alert: Roped In

Shopping at Christian Louboutin is hard work but someone's gotta do it, right Nicky?

Shopping at Christian Louboutin is hard work but someone's gotta do it, right Nicky? While we lust over what's in her bag, let's evaluate her fresh shopping uniform. Notice how the socialite roped in her t-shirt dress with an intricately braided belt. C-ute. I love how the dark hue gives this nautical trend some sass but if you're feeling more sporty, opt for white or red rope. Oh, did I mention they're pretty affordable, too?

15 Fourth of July Goodies (Under $50!) You Need Now

The Fourth is a fine time to celebrate our country's independence with friends and fams. Why not attend the festivities looking fashionably patriotic? I'm not talking about a baggy tee with the American flag plastered on the front — it might work for my dad, but not me. I'm thinking more along the lines of this rad Free People straw fedora or a sparkly tank. Cute, right? Keep clicking to see more fabulous Fourth-worthy finds!

Reese always looks comfy. But she always manages to look polished, too. Post living la dolce vita with her beau Jake, Reese arrived at LAX looking incognito cool. Her baby blue cotton dress is airplane friendly, while her charcoal grey cardi and fringed sandals are multifunctional cute. Some simple jewels add sparkle and her never-leave-home-without-it fedora and shades scream superstar.

The Look For Less: Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent Cree Fringe Flat Thong Sandal

If fringe had a season it would have to be Summer.
Twelfth St. By Cynthia Vincent at ShopStyle

If fringe had a season it would have to be Summer. I can't think of a better time for me to rock this trend with shorts, skirts, jeans, you name it. Take for instance this Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent Flat Fringe Sandal ($204). The short, sleek fringe is the ideal mix of hippie-chic and city glam but I'm not willing to pay that much for such a statement piece.

Unleash your inner adolescence this Spring with colors from the blue lagoon. These ocean-inspired hues give off the perfect breezy, carefree vibe. Kristen Bell knows what's up. Check her out looking like a modern-day mermaid in a tiered Carlos Miele frock. There's a ton of hues to choose from so dabble around. Personally, I'm a turquoise gal, but cobalt blue comes in as a close second.
