Designer Tom Ford to Launch Womenswear

I hate to get hopes up, but it may finally happen: Tom Ford, womenswear. Tom's company, Tom Ford International, is seeking monies of more than £30 million (about $50 million) for a first collection. The former Gucci and YSL designer launched his namesake label in '04 and, not surprisingly, has had mad success via menswear, sunglasses, and fragrances. His film looks to be a winner; if this is true, no doubt Tom will bring sexy back to the runways . . .
