Hi, it's Allison McNamara and you're watching Fab Flash at New York Fashion Week. Diane Von Furstenberg showed puzzle prints and bright color for fall and she told me the inspiration for this collection. Well, this collection is called "Rendezvous." And "Rendezvous" is a meeting with expectation and mystery. It's all about seduction. It's all about volupty. It's about being a woman and loving being a woman. And it's also about being sexy but in a way that maybe not quite averted, and so she may be wearing a very tight dress and then she has a big coat over it. So, you're ready, you're not ready, according to where you go, you may keep the coat or you may take up the dress. So it's a lot of peek-a-boo, a little bit surrealistic feeling, a lot of unexpected and always be the woman you want to be. Diane really knows how to dress a woman, and she reveals when she first fell in love with fashion. I fell in love with being a woman and I'm still in love with being a woman. But, when she's not designing, she likes to be outdoors. I hike. I'm a hiker. And even though she's a fashion icon, she still finds the design process invigorating. But it's like a piece of music, you know, it goes in and goes out, it goes in and goes out. Check out the entire DVF runway show and make sure to come back here for more interviews from New York Fashion Week. I'm Allison McNamara and I'll see you next time on Fab Flash on Fab Sugar TV.
