Yup. It was pretty busy but not too bad. I bought a black leather Lucky Brand bag that was 50% off. A Hobo International wallet (also 50% off). Harajuku Lovers Baby fragrance (marked down to $29.99 from $50). Minnetonka moccasins for 40% off and a pair of black winter boots (unfortunately at full price).

I bought one sweater that wasn't on sale... the stores with sales were packed and had lines wrapping around the store! oh well maybe next year...

i was in a bloomingdale's at a mall. i got a free people dress, a citizens of humanity black sweater, and some t-shirts marked down from $90 to $33! then i asked for a discount on a free people sweater with a hole in it and she took it away from me and said it's damaged and i can't buy it. i wanted to cry. i know she was only being mean cause i look young. :(

Not at all, I have a serious problem with crowds, and I have scarcely found a reason to visit shops post-Christmas anyway.

i was at south coast plaza. IT WAS ABSOLUTE CHAOS, INSANITY, MADNESS! i got a pair of cute booties from nordstrom and went to zara, where they had a major sale with some extremely good deals.

I did and it was soooo worth it!! Got these amazing miu miu nude patent slingbacks with a bamboo heel and platform... @ saks in nyc they were only 166 from 695!

I used to head to the department stores to take advantage of after-Christmas sales. I have received major discounts that way. Now I don't really head out for the sales -- today, for example, I looked at a few sales online, decided that I didn't need anything, and the only things I bought were all things that fall under regular weekend errands (groceries, toiletries, etc.). I think I have just lost some enthusiasm as I have gotten older.

Yes and it was worth it. I shopped at Macy's and got everything except the leggings half priced. I got two sweater dresses, one satin slevless blouse, and one tunic sweater and of course the leggings to go with them. I am much bigger than the Olsen, Lindsey, and Nickie Ritchie but I've completed a similar look. I love leggings with a dress like my new sweater dresses or a tunic sweater I bought.

I bought a black Calvin Klein crepe shirtdress from Belk (on sale for $23.50!!!!!) and a pair of J Brand jeans in ink wash from Marshalls. I also got two stretchy turtlenecks from the Gap.
