I'm an emerald cut girl all the way. I'm so sick of seeing the same ol' round cut solitaire diamonds on people. I want something a little more different and I have to say personally I see very few emerald cuts.

Yeah - don't really care about engagement rings. In fact, I've told my bf that I would rather not have one over $1000, and preferably not a diamond either.

It kind of makes me sick to watch girls showing off their rings - as if the amount of money that was spent on the ring was equal to the love the guy has for you.

Too easy. I love round-cut diamonds, too. When they're well-cut, they're the most sparkling from all the shapes. Also, they're relatively less deep than square and emerald cuts, so they face-up bigger (for the carat weight).

I thought I wasn't going to do that well at this but I got 5/6 and was very impressed with myself.
I had a round solitare when we first got married but about 2 years ago traded it in for an emerald cut. I love it but the Round did give off more sparkles!
