I created Dirt to help you get that look easily.” Though Jonathan can be quite annoying on the Bravo reality show Blowout, he’s absolutely right about this sweet, sticky nectar, available here for $26.

Used on dry locks, the texturizing paste gives hair that FABulous piece-y look without making it look or feel greasy, and Dirt is equally adept at finessing short fine hair or weighing down long, thick styles for a tousled look. hmmm i think i might try this... i recently just moved and the water here makes everything dry! i have to wash my hair every day now which is sooo bad because your hair needs those natural oils, but the heat here is off the rictor scale! my hair looks so dried up yet its soft because i use those silk drops from bed head... but lately it hasn't been doing the job. so ya grr.

I wash my hair every other day... sometimes I can go three days in the winter when I don't get sweaty. Say it's gross if you must, but my hair looks much more fabulous the second day. Plus, I'm saving about an hour with the blow-dryer and flat iron every day that I don't wash it, not to mention saving my hair from that heat. On the day I wash my hair, it feels great, but it's so puffy. The next day, it's heavy and smooth. I've always wanted to try Dirt but I'm in love with the current products I use - I use Frederic Fekkai glossing cream when my hair is wet, and then when it's dry I finish it with Aveda anti-humectant pomade to protect it from humidity and to make it piecy and shiny.

Some hairdresser dude in Glamour Magazine (August UK version) said that it's only a myth, that washing your hair everyday is bad. I don't think I'd like the "toasted marshmellow" scent.

I used to wash my hair every day, but it actually looks a lot better if I just wash it every other day. Mandees right, a good stylist will tell you that washing your hair every day is very bad for it. This stuff looks interesting.

I wash my hair everyother day, and wear a shower cap in between. A lot of stylists say you shouldn't even wash your hair more than a couple times a week.
