Do You Care How Your Gifts Are Wrapped?

A gift is a gift, no matter how it is wrapped. The reception should be the same, no matter. However, I've always taken pride in wrapping something thoughtfully & always appreciated it even more so when someone else did the same. It's just the extra thought and effort that is so heartwarming.

I think you should have chosen a classy photo for this blog, not the tacky one that you have posted above. And no I don't mind if they're not wrapped all that great. As long as it looks as if they tried. Some people just hate gift wrapping and that's understandable. I actually find wrapping fun because I like to be creative. I don't like wrapping only in the tradional manner.

i definitely don't care, even the plastic shopping bag from the store is wrapping enough for me.

there is little i care less about. i also think gift wrap is wasteful, so i find nothing wrong with a reusable gift bag. plus, then i can reuse it and not have to worry about wrapping next year :)

I always wrap gifts up cute, & like to the gifts I get wrapped too..I dont think its a waste, I always save wrapping + tissue paper.

When I receive a gift, I don't care how it's wrapped. But when I give someone a gift, it HAS to be pretty.

Wrapping paper just seems so wasteful. I really do like making well wrapped gifts, but I can't justify buying expensive paper that's going to get thrown away. I reuse pretty bags (I wrap a lot of things in Victoria's Secret bags, and I have this HUGE beautiful gift bag that I got something in for my birthday that I reused), or I use newspaper sometimes. Instead of ribbon, I usually have some leftover yarn laying around, and I like to use that to decorate it with, especially if I have furry yarn. This year we bought one cheap roll of wrapping paper, and some tissue paper.

it's what's inside that counts...as long as it's actually wrapped! no gift bags!!

I hate it when people spent more on the wrapping paper/card etc than the gift. Waste of paper and money!

When people put time into the wrapping, it just makes the gift all the more better. Even if the gift isn't that great, at least it looks good.

I like gift-wrapping and spend a lot of time making every present look nice, so I don't like if somebody gives me a present wrapped in a newspaper or something.

i love gift-wrapping but the best gift i got was a tissue box. At first I went wtf, but realize that there was a string attached and when pulled, out came $20 bills adding all up to $200. Most awesomest present ever in the worst gift-wrapping ever!

I have always found wrapping paper wasteful. When I was a kid and I wanted to wrap something, I would use the comics section from the newspaper, because it was colorful and unique. Now I just re-use shopping bags (I save them during the year) and I also use the tissue paper that came with the purchase as decoration inside the bag. I only wrap presents if I am taking something to a child's birthday party (happens rarely though) because they don't necessarily understand why I would want to conserve paper.

I'm pretty creative so gift wrapping is always fun for me, but if a gift I receive isn't wrapped properly, I don't usually mind. It's the thought that counts, no?
