Do You Ever Go Hands-Free?

Agyness ditches the handbag sometimes — she told me so at New York Fashion Week! It's because when she's on the runway she has so much stuff going on — clothes, makeup, accessories. In her personal life, she's more low maintenance. What about you? Can you do without your lip gloss and BlackBerry once in a while?

yeah sure - I went on a trip this summer (across the U.S., lots of museums/tourist atrractions), so I got used to not carrying a purse. I still do, but more often than before I don't feel like it and just hold my phone in my hand...

i have done it on occasion but not often. it's hard for me to be free of all my stuff especially if i don't have pockets..but i've been known to find someone who's willing to hold my phone or ID so i don't have to hassle with a bag.

If no bag, then big pockets. My cellphone and mini-wallet (little Coach dealy, very handy) can fit in my jeans pocket, so if I have to go bare minimum, those are what go along. I do tend to feel naked without my purse, though, and I'll inevitably need my lip balm or something that goes in my purse normally when I don't have it.

For concerts or other times when I only need a few things, I like to use my Gucci belt-pocket thing - similar to what SJP wore in Sex and the City. Still, even while wearing, I do sometimes panic and feel like... did I leave my purse somewhere? :)

Depends where i'm going. If it's a party or a club I can ditch it but for most of the time I need my bag to carry at least my wallet and keys.

If I only have one thing I need to carry around - like just my keys or phone - I'll leave it behind, especially if I have to walk a long way. I was especially wary about carrying a handbag around when I worked in a bad area of town. Bags are cute, but you really have to prioritize what you want with you and what you want to keep safe at home sometimes!

I just can't, I feel weird if I don't have my bag with me. Mostly for my cellphone, wallet and keys - makeup isn't an issue.
