shoes.. no. bag.. NOOO! i'm really into bags, and therefore buy alot, and i really don't like other people touching my stuff.. even if its a friend.

I would, but not only are my friends and I have extremely different tastes (none of them are as daring or love fashion as much as I do), but I also wear a size 9 while most of them are 7's or 8's...

no way. ever. again. had few bad experiences - one was lending an irresponsible friend a commes des garcon shirt and i got it back with a button missing. and it didn't come with an extra !!

Nope, other than my sister on a rare occasion with my shoes for a special occasion as I have waaaaay more heels than she does. As far as my bags-no way. I have some nice Coach bags but some really amazing Marc Jacobs bag that cost me over $500 and I would never ever lend them out. If anyone is going to cause a ink mark, stain or what not it will be on me not a friend because I would be very angry if they did.

I would consider lending a handbag to a friend, but shoes? No thanks, that's probably not very hygienic.

i'm with santana, i'll lend a bag if need be, but shoes are a different story, my sister sometimes steals my flip flops if she's going outside, but i would never let her borrow my shoes (it helps that i'm a size 12 and she's like a 9, so it doesn't come up that often).
