I get a lot of compliments but I give a lot of them out. I love seeing what other people are wearing- especially when I go to other law firms!

i used to get compliments all the time before i moved away - and now i think that people sometimes just don't get my fashion sense. slowly but surely i'm getting back into having people say nice things about what i'm wearing

anaisethenry, I know what you mean.I've been in NYC for 4 months and I feel like I am killing myself trying find cute stuff for work that isn't $500 but isn't cheap looking or super trendy. If anyone watched Fashionista Diaries over the summer, you'll remember, "Buy clothes, not food"....that's my life! =x

I have a basic uniform (jeans and a black wifebeater, hey I work from home) so I don't usually get compliments. But when I do go out somewhere (not too often) people always compliment me. I think it's beacuse they're so used to seeing me in jeans and a wifebeater tho! haha

I do, especially at uni..you'd be shocked at what people turn up to class in. I jsut don't do the sloppy sweats thing.

I got complimented on my outift by every single person in the hallway, and then everyone in the elevator (differnt people)It was SO MUCH FUN!

Well, it depends what you mean by compliments... certainly I've decided to take them as compliments, but I'm not completely sure that's what the complimenter meant...My favourite has been 'You're looking eccentic today' but I'm also a fan of 'I could see your legs before I saw you.' on my hot pink tights, 'wow your earrings are huge!' and 'Did you mean for your fingernails to be that shade of green?' (for the record, I did!)

i get more compliments on here on my looks than in real life, i live in a really small town were everyone is stomping about in their wellies and fleeces, and i totter about in pencil skirt etc :-P :-D

Definitely at work...and those compliments keep me going! And looking nice on the job is always a good cover for those times when you accidentally slip up a couple of times :-) But yeah, I get compliments.
