I work in retail so yes it's sort of my job to give fashion advice when asked. However...since it *is* my job that doesn't mean I'm always able to be entirely honest and forthcoming in my
personal opinions.
Same goes for friends actually--I'm not one to ever tell someone that something looks bad or is not flattering on them. But I'm always happy to share a good styling tip I've picked up.
Sometimes I'll give it even without being asked, but only to really good friends/family- it's almost a given. But always when asked by anyone...why not? We're all in it to look good.
Im a model and definitely give advice to my non-model friends. I think it's a great idea to share your knowledge with others. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p74L9rSXEDU
shannolyn nailed it. i also work in retail, so it's my job to give advice and sometimes style a client. however, i am probably more honest than my job would like. i feel if you are spending a
lot of money (which, if you're shopping where i work, you are) then you should look your best.
and when i'm off the clock i love to give advice to friends. i'm known for it.

Cat Deeley looked casual and cute outside the BBC Radio One studios in London. She wore Hudson black skinny jeans and kept warm with a feminine white pom pom scarf and soft green leather jacket (similar in color to this one by Tory Burch), adding a Pauric Sweeney python bag and tough combat boots to give the look more of an edge.
