Even though Louis Vuitton is featuring supermodels in their Spring ad campaign, it looks like Chanel is having its own supermodel revival. Kate Moss chose to go Chanel-clad for her glam rock-themed 34th birthday party earlier this week, while Claudia Schiffer wears the same starry outfit in the fashion house's Spring ad campaign. Kate rocks the outfit in real life, while Claudia flaunts it for Karl Lagerfeld's lensed fantasy — which do you prefer?

I love the way Claudia Schiffer looks in that ad. She looks timeless, so that's why I voted for her. As for Kate Moss, she had herself to it. She made it a Kate Moss. She puts her own twist on everything so I guess I give her some creative points, c'mon man it was her birthday she can do what ever she wants. At least she wasn't wearing that disgusting fur coat again.

As far as Kate's outfit, she didn't "tweak" anything...she's wearing the jumpsuit and coat/dress as it was worn on the runway. She added a pair of hideous shoes and eye make-up. Personally I'm not a fan of the look but I think Claudia looks better...but that could be because they removed the jumpsuit portion for the shoot.

I looks better in the ad because its black and white and the background is simple as is Claudia's makeup. Also she probably did a lot of shots out of which they chose this one where the garment looks flowy and heavenly. But in reality it just makes whoever wears it look like they're on the way to the Yule Ball in Harry Potter 4.
