I have a walk-in with built-in shelves for shoes. I put them on the shelves sans boxes. I have a pair of shoes for every outfit I have, sneakers, and casual shoes. I buy clothes by the outfit + shoes. I go in and put my outfits together, lay them out, and put the shoes with them. I'm anal, but I'm anal in a very different way. And I only keep my outfits for one season.

I love thrifting, so quite often the shoes I buy come without boxes. Plus I've got this thing where I practically wear shoes into the ground in a month by barely taking them off, so I don't put them in a box. Aside from that, yes, I do keep my shoes in shoeboxes.

All my shoes stay in their boxes. Their original boxes. If I shop and find a pair of shoes I want and the sales associate tells me there isn't a box..... I won't buy them. I'm obsessed with keeping my shoes in their boxes.

I have half of my shoes out in store styled shoe shelves. The rest are in their boxes. I eventually plan on putting thme in the same size boxes with a picture outside like some other people here. THanks you guys for being this way I dont feel alone in the world!!)

In Brazil, shoe stores give us a little cloth bag when you buy a new shoe, so I save the bags even when the shoe is gone so I can but my new ones in it. It's better because it preserves the shoe but doesn't take as much space as the box

I keep the current season out for easy access, and the others safely tucked away in boxes. When the season changes, they switch places.

I don't have space for my shoes only, imagine if I kept them in their boxes! I would need a closet only for my shoes...

NYC and shoe boxes do not mix, unless you have an unrealistically large Carrie Bradshaw closet. mine are in a shoe rack, but i keep them organized well!

My expensive shoes are kept in boxes. I keep most of the other ones (especially out of season) in a large plastic tub that I bought from Target. I keep that under my bed.

Being that I live in NYC, my closet space does not allow for storing shoes in their boxes, but I do store them in cloth bags to protect them and keep them matched up.
