Dolce & Gabbana Hand-Woven Hobo: Love It or Hate It?

I am torn about this Dolce & Gabbana Metallic Hand-Woven Hobo that Lolipop89 posted in the Love It or Hate It? group. It could potentially work with a Summery beach ensemble, but I'm not so sure it's worth paying over a $1000 for a bag I can only wear during one season. Plus, it kinda looks like a fisherman's net. What do you all think?

Maybe if it looked less net like, the weaving needs to be tighter, and the bag needs to be wider, or less tall. I would still never pay that much money for it.

I posted it in the Love It or Hate It Group because I want to know other people opinions. Mine, I would never spend my money in a bag so simil to that my grandmother used years ago to go to the market.
