Thank you to WhiplashGirlchild for sending in these truly, um, interesting shiny spandex stirrup pants from Dolce and Gabbana. Regardless of whether or not you actually like them, the price tag of $695 seems a little steep.

Terrific, Wonderful, Great Tights I'm buying, guys lets be real the only reason you hate it, 1) you can't make it work your shapeless, 2) you don't have the skill to make fashion work I DO!!!!

The reason many women are afraid, embarrassed and angry at the comeback of stirrup leggings is because they probably wore them in their younger days, and now they no loger have the body they used to. However, there are still many women out there, from their teens to their 40's who still look damn good and sexy in them. Just becuase you weigh 500lbs there is no reason to spoil the fun for everyone else. Another thing: It is (sadly) very true and regretful that spandex, cotton and nylon leggings, with or without stirrups were made in XXXL sizes due to the greed of garment manufacturers. Then you began to see trailer trash and fat ghetto women and fat men, gay and stright, wearing them turning a sexy fashion into a joke/ It is understandable, and yes, the sight of those was enough to make your eyes bleed, but look at it this way: Right now, stirrup leggings are only available through high class outlets, and in slim sizes. Let's hope it remains that way and that they (garment makers) do not kill the goose that lays the golden egg. Peace!

They look like ultra shiny full length leggings.. kinda cool if you think about it.. but the way they are worn *ahem* BY THEMSELF - is kinda... WRONG.

If I ever become a secret agent or something I'll be sure to check into these fancy things! ;)

Good Lord! These are ugly. Mere words escape me at the sight of these pants! In the '80s I was young and dumb...hence, I wore leggings...so here we are twenty some years later and now they are "shinny". Just what at this time in my life, to look as bad as I did in my youth...I so don't think so!

My rule of thumb is, if even the size 0 model looks fat in it, it should be jettisoned off the face of the planet. And stirrup pants are simply the work of the devil. My mom used to threaten to pick me up at school wearing them, just to freak me out. :P

yeast infection???? lol. i can't think of many who caould pull these off. well except Kate Moss and for some reason I see Scarlett Johansen in them.. but as a body-suit.

OMG NOOOO!!! When I was in kindergarten, we had to write a story about our moms in class. I don't remember this, but apparently my story went like this: "I love my Mommy because she is nice. I don't like when she makes me wear stirrup pants." I've always hated these ugly, uncomfortable pants and I will not willingly wear them, especially after the tantrums I threw as a child when my mother tried to force me into them.

Autumn, they are the best, and they keep you warm too. Plus, if your short like me, they make you appear taller..with a black skirt, and shoes. :) Add, a black top, and even taller. lol Actually, I love to dress monochromatic in all cream, or black.

Autumn, that explains it..you haven't scene Sex in the City. No, I would never wear stirrups, or leggings (well, leggings in yoga class but, that's it). :) I love black tights!!..I think that's the best alternative for these 2 trends.
