Dooney & Bourke Candy Print Bag: Love It or Hate It?

I appreciate Dooney & Bourke's effort over the past couple years to reach out to a younger customer with colorful prints and too cute spokesmodels like the current Emma Roberts and our fave Lindsay Lohan. But a candy print might be taking things a little too Willy Wonka for me. This Dooney & Bourke Candy Print Bag was found by CGW in the Love It or Hate It? group. What are your thoughts?

It looks silly to me, and people actually pay 8-$1,000. for em!!! My sister is way too guilty of paying crazy money for funky bags!

Hey I think I might be one of the few who actually buy this purse or let alone like it. When Gucci came out with their floral print purses and handbags I became all excited because the colors were beautiful and I was able to match it with just about anything. I used that purse for everything for almost two years (before I had to retire it :( and I think this is a good alternative). Plus it's cute and if I were to get a craving i could just look at the purse and possibly be done with it, KIDDING!

It would look great paired with jeans and a t-shirt. I would not buy it, thought, solid colors are more my style.

D&B is like when your Grandma wants to buy you something 'young' or 'hip' and she comes back with metallic teal hi-cut underwear and there's no gift receipt(true story, folks).

Hates it. They have this other bag that is tiny, literally made for a child with cartoon bees all over it. I positively DESPISE it and this one too. I have a cute tote in beige. They should stick with understatements.

I agree. I used to love D&B back in the days of the It bag and the hearts. Since then...I dunno...they've just been getting weird.

yeah agreed hate it. too young and cheap looking. yuck I've never liked dooneys they're worse then XOXO bags. I hate the material used to make them it makes all the prints look rough and cheap.
