Step Into Fashion Rehab With Dsquared2

Glamorous '60s society women checked into rehab at the Dsquared2 show in Milan this morning. With their messy beehives and silk cocktail dresses, the women resembled the unfulfilled wives in Mad Men, perfectly polished with just a hint of dishevelment, escorted by uniformed "staff" into the runway's makeshift facility.

Hemlines were either floor length on dramatic long dresses in heavy fabrics with sparkling embellishment and matching coats or supershort on tiny minidresses with high necklines and simple shift shapes. Reptile prints, one of the season's big trends, were prolific on dresses and jackets, as were pale shades of baby pink, silver, white, and beige. Short leopard-print swing coats topped slinky black looks, and green fur trims dressed up brown and navy day dresses.

The show closed with lingerie- and sleepwear-inspired looks, as if these women were removing their dresses ready for their first night in rehab (but keeping on their jewels). There were silk camisoles, a knit bodysuit, and even a golden pantsuit that looked very much like a pair of glamorous pajamas.
