Elizabeth and James Suspender Cut Off Shorts: Love It or Hate It?

The cut off short has gotten a mini makeover. Thanks to these Elizabeth and James Suspender Cut Off Shorts ($275), we can stand out from the rest of the cut off shorts-wearing population. But I must ask the burning question: Why spend this much when you can just clip some of your dad's suspenders on to some good old jean shorts? Could you pull it off? Or rather, would you want to?

They are kind of tacky, hiking up in the crotch area on the mannequin is bad just imagine that on a real life person ewwww! Plus they are ($275)...are you kidding me get an old pair of Levi's cut them off and buy some cheapo suspenders for around 10 bucks and bam you have an exact replica for around 20 bucks!
