Trend Alert: The Leather Dress
Reasons we love leather: We have been on a leather jacket binge for months (seven total), Barneys's Simon Doonan and Julie Gilhart cheekily taught us how to wear it, we know how to prevent it from wrinkling — we're just leather McLovin'. And we know everyone else is feeling the love when good girls like Emmy Rossum bust out in a black leather bustier dress by Ina Soltani. Damn, girl. 2I don't think I would wear a leather dress. Particularly not the one Emmy Rossum is wearing. It looks like something she bought in a sex shop, and it's just not her.

9I love leather, when it's done right, and every one of those dresses is done right - especially the LaRoc one (droool...), but I just can't wear leather (other than boots or purses) - dresses and pants don't fit nicely around my large hips, and leather jackets just look wierd on me. too bad, because I think it looks really cool...
10if i had the body to wear this - i TOTALLY would. i think that it's really current and trendy to wear leather - we know that people have been wearing leather leggings all season so there's nothing wrong with a dress if you have the physique for it.
